The Amador Fire Protection District is responsible for the protection of life and property for approximately 22,000 residents. The district’s jurisdictional boundaries include 491 square miles of unincorporated Amador County and the city of Plymouth. Amador Fire is an all-risk fire department consisting of 7 fire stations strategically placed throughout the district and a roster of approximately 60 members.  Our daily staffing consists of 5 staffed Engine Companies, 1 Battalion Chief, 1 Fire Prevention Officer, all supported by a dedicated group of volunteers.
